Famistry.org provides Famistry Desktop releases, plugin catalog APIs, account access and administrative statistics.

Account holders are responsible for keeping access to their email address and

choosing a strong password. Verification and password-reset links are temporary,

single-use credentials and must not be shared.

Users are responsible for having the rights needed to use the genealogical materials and portraits they submit. Famistry Desktop local projects remain on the user's device unless a specific online service is used. Family Book Studio is such an opt-in service: it processes only the reviewed book snapshot and selected portraits to generate a temporary PDF.

Desktop updates and downloads are provided as-is. Installers may be unsigned until code signing is completed.

Family Book Studio is free during its public beta. It may change and is not represented as a press-ready professional print service. Paid plugin terms and billing provider rules will be published before any paid plugin becomes available.

The beta backend may issue a zero-price order and time-limited entitlement to an authenticated user for testing the future delivery flow. This is not a charge or proof of payment. Paid mode and checkout remain disabled until a payment provider and the applicable price, currency, receipt and refund terms are configured.
